Stuart SMP20 Melting Point Apparatus

SMP20 Melting Point Apparatus |
The new digital SMP20 Melting Point Apparatus from Dynalon Labware and Stuart Equipment provides a more advanced way to determine accurate melting points of solid materials. You may already be familiar with the popular Dynalon/Stuart digital SMP10 Melting Point Apparatus. The new SMP20 is the same product with 3 additional features:
|
- The LED temperature “Display Resolution” is to 0.1°C for additional accuracy.
- A“Hold Facility” button on the fascia allows the user to measure/hold the LED temperature while viewing the “melt”, also providing more accuracy.
|
- The “Ramp Rate” from the plateau temperature to the melt, is variable from between 1° and 10°C per minute. The faster rate means that less time is required to conduct the experiment.
|
These products are widely used in educational institutions, especially in organic chemistry labs in universities and community colleges, and in quality assurance laboratories in various industries e.g. food, chemical etc, to check for impurities. Salespeople can easily learn the features and benefits of these products.
Attached is a specification sheet that compares the SMP20 to the SMP10 and provides more detailed operating instructions. As with the SMP10, English, Spanish and French instruction labels are included and simply adhere to the fascia. The SMP20 also includes 100 glass capillary tubes and carries the Stuart 3 year warranty. Product is in stock and available to ship.
There are no plans to discontinue the budget saving SMP10.
